WEB Barcelona have completed the signing of RB Leipzig's versatile forward Dani Olmo, the Catalan club confirmed on Friday.

Olmo, 24, is a product of Barcelona's famed La Masia academy, but he left the club in 2014 to join Dinamo Zagreb.

After two seasons in Croatia, Olmo moved to RB Leipzig in 2016, where he quickly established himself as one of the most exciting young players in Europe.

The Spain international has won the Bundesliga and DFB-Pokal with Leipzig, and he was part of the Spain squad that reached the semi-finals of Euro 2020.

Olmo has signed a six-year contract with Barcelona, and he will be presented to the media on Monday.

The transfer fee is believed to be in the region of €60 million (£52 million).
